Under What Conditions Will Armenia Accept the Proposal for Tripartite Inter-Parliamentary Negotiations?

Yesterday, it was reported by RIA Novosti, citing its sources, that the next round of tripartite inter-parliamentary negotiations between Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan may take place this month, in November.

In an interview with Auroranews.am, the spokesperson for the Speaker of the National Assembly, Tsovinar Khachatryan, stated that a proposal has been received, but the Armenian side cannot yet confirm the information about the meeting until the main points of the declaration adopted after the tripartite meeting at the end of October are implemented.

"I mean the elimination of humanitarian issues and the question of territorial integrity. Once these points are implemented, we will reconsider other areas, including parliamentary contacts," said Khachatryan.

It appears that there has been a proposal, but whether Armenia will accept it depends on the aforementioned factors. At this stage, it is pointless to discuss any deadlines.
