Concrete Discussions Ongoing with Turkey, Says Mirzoyan
Concrete discussions are ongoing with Turkey, announced the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, at the National Assembly.
“It is well-known that the process is without preconditions, and at the same time, the Turkish side continuously links it with the normalization of relations with Azerbaijan, which somewhat resembles a precondition itself. However, alongside this, very concrete discussions are taking place, including at the level of special representatives,” he said.
According to Mirzoyan, the conversation involves several specific steps, including the opening of borders for individuals holding diplomatic passports and also for citizens of third countries.
“I can say that there has been progress, the conversation is ongoing, and I can also say that I expect and hope that there will be positive results in the near future,” emphasized the Armenian Foreign Minister.
