Our goal is for teachers to earn between 800,000 and 1,200,000 AMD salary. Pashinyan
In 2023, I set a challenge for the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports to implement a teacher certification system in art schools, sports schools, music schools, and kindergartens as well.
This was announced today by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, who added that this certification system for teachers proves to be justified.
The Prime Minister specifically noted that currently, teachers under this system must undergo re-certification every 3 or 5 years.
“Today we have the opportunity for teachers to earn a salary of 400,000 to 450,000 AMD. But our goal is for teachers' salaries to become between 800,000 and 1,200,000 AMD, and this is achievable through the certification system,” said Pashinyan.
