Ovchuk and Aliyev Hold Discussion: What We Know
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Ovchuk has discussed issues related to strengthening bilateral trade and economic cooperation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the press service of the Russian government reports.
It is noted that both sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of relations based on the agreements reached between the presidents of the two countries, and the state of cooperation in the economy, including the transport and logistics sector, highlighting progress in all directions of collaboration and an increase in trade turnover between Russia and Azerbaijan.
“Thoughts were exchanged on the development of the 'North-South' international transport corridor, and the activities of a tripartite working group co-chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, and Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Ovchuk of the Government of the Russian Federation were discussed,” the statement said.
