Iran Will Not Remain Indifferent If Its Drones Are Confirmed to Be Killing People in Ukraine: Abdollahian

The Iranian Foreign Minister stated that Tehran will not stand aside if it is confirmed that Russia is using Iranian-made drones in its war against Ukraine, as reported by Unn.com.ua.

“If it is proven that Iranian drones are being used against people in Ukraine, we must not show indifference,” Iranian state media quoted Hossein Amir-Abdollahian as saying.

The minister also reiterated that Tehran has not supplied weapons and equipment to Russia for use in military operations against Ukraine. At the same time, he noted that defense cooperation between Moscow and Tehran will continue.

He added that Iran is ready for a joint investigation with Ukraine and discussed the possible investigation with Josep Borrell, the EU's foreign policy chief, last Thursday. “We are prepared for Iranian and Ukrainian military personnel and experts to hold joint meetings, and we are also ready to present any documents they have on behalf of Ukraine,” he stated.
