Biden to Provide Aid to Ukraine
U.S. President Joe Biden has signed a temporary funding bill for the U.S. government, which includes an additional $12.4 billion in aid to Ukraine, according to a statement released by the White House.
“The President has signed into law the act for the continuation of appropriations and funding support for Ukraine in 2023, which will provide funds to federal agencies for the fiscal year 2023 until December 16, 2022, to continue federal government projects and activities, and to fund support to address the situation in Ukraine,” the statement said.
Earlier on Friday, the bill was passed by the U.S. Congress. Among other things, it aims to allocate $12.4 billion in aid to Ukraine, including economic tools to support the work of the Ukrainian government, military assistance funds, and U.S. military missions in Europe.
