«The Main Beneficiary in All This is the U.S.», Patrushev

Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev stated that the U.S. is the primary beneficiary of the explosions that occurred in the Nord Stream pipelines.

“From the very first moments of reports about the explosions in ‘Nord Stream 1’ and ‘Nord Stream 2’, the West launched an active campaign to find the culprits. However, it is clear that the main beneficiary in all this is the U.S., primarily from an economic perspective,” Patrushev said during a meeting of the heads of special services from CIS countries in Moscow.

According to him, a similar situation occurred back in October 1983 at the Puerto Sandino port in Nicaragua. “Efforts must be coordinated to uncover the masterminds and perpetrators of this crime, which will be a good example of our effective cooperation,” the Russian Security Council Secretary noted.

It is recalled that on September 26, a terrorist attack occurred simultaneously on two gas pipelines.
