Gyumri's Emma Poghosyan Becomes Weightlifting European Champion

 The European Youth Weightlifting Championships is nearing its conclusion in Poland. The Armenian national team has won yet another gold medal. In the 81 kg category of the M17 girls' competition, Gyumri athlete Emma Poghosyan has excelled, achieving a total lift of 206 kg (91+115) and being crowned the European champion. Emma has also earned a small gold and silver medal.

It is worth noting that four other Armenian athletes—Mikael Cholakyan, Alexandra Grigoryan, Seryozha Barselyan, and Valerik Minasyan—have also become champions at this event.
