Mkhitaryan Sustains Injury
The vice-champion of Italy, Inter Milan's midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has sustained a muscle injury to his left thigh, reports the press service of the Milan club. On August 16, the former midfielder of the Armenian national team underwent a medical examination. No information has been provided regarding the recovery timeline.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan had come on as a substitute in the opening match of the Italian league against Lecce. The team led by Italian coach Simone Inzaghi secured a 2-1 victory in that match.
In the second round of the Italian league, Inter will host Spezia on August 20.
