Suspect Reporting Bomb Threat Found in Gyumri
On August 15, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report that a citizen near the Territorial Tax Inspection building in Gyumri was threatening to blow himself up and claimed that five grenades were placed in the building. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Ministry, Hayk Kostanyan.
“Search operations were carried out, and nothing was found. The police detained the citizen,” he noted.
The man is a resident of Gyumri, who reported his intentions to explode the Tax Inspection building and other structures while in an intoxicated state.
It is important to note that similar reports about the presence of explosive materials in the same building were also received on August 15, and following search operations, it was determined that the report was false.
