Clarification on Partial Mobilization
The Information Headquarters of Artsakh has provided additional clarification regarding the various discussions within the public about partial mobilization.
Due to the recent increase in tensions along the contact line, there has been a need to reinforce certain military units and both military and civilian positions. As a result, a partial mobilization has been declared by the decree of the President of Artsakh, which, unlike a general mobilization, is a gathering of a portion of the state’s armed forces based on the specific situation and the tasks set before the armed forces at that moment.
In each case of partial mobilization, the scale of the mobilization and the degree and number of those involved are determined by the competent authorities. Therefore, the announced partial mobilization includes only specific units, and only citizens assigned to those units are receiving notifications.
This means that those who have not received a notification have not had any decisions made concerning mobilization for their military unit or division. Notifications have been sent to all individuals assigned to those military units without any discrimination, including officials who have been involved in the mobilization for military service.
