Bayramov and Lavrov have had a phone conversation
The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Russia, Jeyhun Bayramov and Sergey Lavrov, have had a phone conversation during which they emphasized the full implementation of the provisions of the trilateral statements previously signed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
They noted that Bayramov and Lavrov discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda and the situation in the region.
“The importance of the full realization of the provisions of the trilateral statements signed by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia was emphasized,” the ministry's statement said.
At the same time, the ministry continued, the parties exchanged views on transportation and transit issues in the region and stressed the importance of expanding the potential of the North-South transport corridor passing through Russia, Azerbaijan, and Iran.
