Onik Gasparyan Approved a Disgraceful Plan for the Use of Iskanders: Serious Accusation Against the Former Chief of General Staff - Abrahamyan

“Andranik Kocharyan has stated that during the 44-day war, the former Chief of General Staff, Onik Gasparyan, approved a disgraceful plan for the use of Iskanders. This is quite a serious accusation against the former Chief of General Staff and refers to a topic that is known only to a very limited number of individuals.

Politically speaking, no statement made by this government can be trusted by the public, especially since the political leader of the same government previously spoke about only 10% of the Iskander missile exploding. In this case, Onik Gasparyan must respond.

During this government’s term, there is simply no opportunity to learn many details about the war. However, until such an opportunity arises—namely, the removal of this government—Onik Gasparyan and other retired military officials and players must periodically respond to the government’s allegations and simply speak the truth.

I am well aware that the overwhelming majority of military personnel consider it pointless to make public statements and engage in public debate; they do not see themselves in that role. But the time to speak has long since arrived, and many have even missed their chance. Do not support us, but at least defend yourselves.”
