Saakashvili has resembled a deceased person, lawyer says

The health condition of former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has deteriorated, as reported by his lawyer Shalva Khachapuridze. According to "Georgia Online," he made these comments to the IPN news agency.

"His face has darkened, pigmentation has appeared, his hands are weak, and he looks like a person who died 2-3 days ago. The situation is very serious," the lawyer stated.

It is noteworthy that Mikheil Saakashvili, who has held various key positions in Ukraine, is currently in custody in his home country. He returned to Georgia in September 2021 and was immediately arrested.

He has been sentenced to six years in prison for the murder of a banker and for assaulting a member of parliament. The political figure is also accused of illegally crossing the border, embezzling state funds, and dispersing an opposition rally in 2007.
