In an interview with reporters, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, spoke about the controversial recording involving Gagik Jhangiryan.
"I am a high-ranking state official, I will not comment," Simonian said. According to him, he has seen the headline but has not listened to the recording.
It is noteworthy that Ruben Vardazaryan, the suspended president of the Supreme Judicial Council, released a recording during a press conference, featuring a conversation between him, the acting head of the Supreme Judicial Council Gagik Jhangiryan, and Supreme Judicial Council member Stepan Mikayelyan, which took place on February 20, 2021.
