“Don’t be disappointed if suddenly Abgar doesn’t come home on July 24, 2022” - Gegham Nazaryan
Gegham Nazaryan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, has made a post on his Facebook page, particularly noting:
“June 24: A common day for many. For many, but not for me and my family. In exactly one month, Abgar will finish his service in the armed forces, having been drafted on July 24, 2020.
In exactly one month, Abgar will be leaving the military unit in Hadrut, embracing his friends near the checkpoint, slowly walking down the steps, and leisurely making his way to the center of Hadrut, waiting for the minibus to Yerevan. Before the bus departs, he will manage to walk to the church, sit under the trees, and return to the center, thinking along the way that Hadrut needs a cable car.
And when the minibus starts moving, he will eagerly wait to see when he will finally get home. We are also quietly preparing for his return, to see what he said we have done or are doing.
Only one month left, dear Abgar. And please listen and don’t be disappointed if suddenly Abgar doesn’t come home on July 24, 2022… Did you hear that clearly? Those officials disconnecting your calls and shamelessly making excuses are not the only ones. Only one month left. We are waiting for Abgar and if suddenly he doesn’t arrive…”
