There Are No Pleasant Stories: Vahagn Khachaturyan Comments on Recording with Gagik Jhangiryan

I do not wish to comment on the recording involving Gagik Jhangiryan, the acting president of the Supreme Judicial Council, because I do not have that authority. This was stated by the President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, during a broadcast on Public Television, in response to the host's question regarding the constitutional duty of the president to ensure the adherence to the Constitution, and how he would comment on that recording.

“It is not a pleasant story, but... the law enforcement agencies are currently dealing with it; let them handle it, and afterwards I will have the opportunity to provide assessments,” said Vahagn Khachaturyan.

It is noteworthy that on June 20, the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Ruben Vardazaryan (whose powers are temporarily suspended), published a recording of a conversation with Gagik Jhangiryan, who was fulfilling the duties of the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, during a press conference.
