“We Became the Largest Russian Channel on War,” YouTube Deletes WarGonzo Project Channel
The Russian WarGonzo project channel has been deleted by the YouTube video hosting network. It was founded by military correspondent Semyon Pegov.
YouTube's administration announced that the journalists violated certain rules, according to information provided by dailystorm.ru.
On WarGonzo's Telegram channel, it was mentioned that YouTube deleted the project’s channel a month ago. WarGonzo published the message received from YouTube: “We checked and found that you violated our community guidelines. As a result, your channel has been deleted.”
The WarGonzo team reported that since the start of military operations in Ukraine, YouTube had “continuously blocked their channel, finding errors in the most ordinary videos.”
“On this platform, our subscriber count was confidently approaching one million; we had become the largest Russian channel on the war,” the journalists stated.
