Putin Ready to Actively Discuss Prisoner Exchange with Ukraine, Austrian Chancellor
Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed food security and gas supply issues with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer. The Russian president told Nehammer that attempts to hold Moscow responsible for supply difficulties are unfounded.
According to the Kremlin leader, these issues arose due to sanctions against the Russian Federation. Putin emphasized that Kyiv is sabotaging negotiations with Russia.
Additionally, the Russian leader reaffirmed Russia's commitment to fulfilling contractual obligations regarding gas supplies to Austria.
After the talks, Nehammer stated that Putin is ready to actively discuss the issue of prisoner exchanges with Ukraine. The Austrian chancellor also mentioned that during a phone call, Putin told him that Gazprom would be deprived of gas storage in Haidach, Austria, if the Russian company did not replenish it.
