Putin and Charles Michel Held a Phone Conversation

Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke on the phone with European Council President Charles Michel, as reported by RIA Novosti.

During the conversation, Putin and the European Council president discussed the special operation aimed at defending Donbas and the humanitarian situation surrounding it.

The Russian president pointed out to Michel that the EU leadership ignored the Ukrainian military’s criminal act during the shelling of Donetsk yesterday.

Putin presented the fundamental assessments regarding the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine regarding the development of agreements. Furthermore, it was noted that Kyiv is not showing a serious willingness to search for a mutually acceptable resolution of the issue.
