Spring Break for Schools in Artsakh to Start Early
Due to the heating issues arising from the suspension of gas supply in the Republic of Artsakh, the spring break for schools will commence earlier than planned. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Artsakh.
"The break will begin on March 14. The vacation for first graders will last until March 27 inclusive, while for students in grades 2-12, it will last until March 20 inclusive," the announcement states.
It is worth noting that in Artsakh, as in Armenia, the spring break in schools was originally scheduled to start on March 21.
Furthermore, due to the damage to the gas pipeline coming from Armenia to Artsakh, the entire region has been deprived of gas supply since March 8. The damaged section of the pipeline is under the control of the Azerbaijani armed forces. In order for the specialists of "Artsakhgaz" CJSC to carry out repair work, negotiations are being conducted with the Azerbaijani side, involving representatives of the Russian peacekeeping forces stationed in Artsakh and staff from the Office of the Security Council.
