Turkey's Foreign Ministry Issues Advisory to Citizens
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement urging its citizens to avoid travel to the eastern regions of Ukraine.
“Our country is closely monitoring the situation and security around Ukraine. In this regard, we advise our citizens to refrain from visiting the eastern border areas of Ukraine unless absolutely necessary. We encourage our citizens to take all necessary safety precautions and to contact the Turkish embassy in Kyiv before traveling to these regions,” the statement from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads.
