Armed Forces Release Statement Denying Azerbaijani Falsehoods

The information disseminated by Azerbaijani media, claiming that the units of the Defense Army allegedly opened fire on Azerbaijani positions from a vehicle, is yet another disinformation and does not correspond to reality.

In fact, Azerbaijani servicemen opened sporadic fire towards the village from positions near the Red Shuka settlement in the Martuni region of the Republic of Artsakh, resulting in the burning of a civilian vehicle parked adjacent to a kindergarten.

Relevant information regarding the incident has been provided to the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces, and measures have been taken to return the Azerbaijani side to the ceasefire regime.
