Attempted Murder: A Citizen's Car Destroyed by Explosion
On December 31, an attempted murder occurred against a resident of Vedi. According to the Investigative Committee, on the same day, the citizen reported to the Ararat Division of the Police that around 10:00 AM, while reversing his "VAZ 21214" car parked in the yard of a building on Kasyan Street in Vedi, he heard suspicious noises from under the vehicle after moving back about 3-4 meters. He quickly got out of the car and saw that a wire was hanging under it. Immediately, he entered the entrance, after which he heard the sound of an explosion.
As a result of the measures taken, the extent of material damage caused to the citizen by the explosion was determined, and he was recognized as a victim and interrogated. Forensic medical, as well as explosion-technical and commodity expertise have been appointed. A directive has been issued to the relevant division of the Republic of Armenia's Police to identify and take necessary measures to locate the person suspected of committing the alleged crime. The pre-investigation continues.
