Authorities Plan to Eliminate Saakashvili During Prison Riot, Claims Lawyer
The former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, is reportedly set to be eliminated during a prison riot. This shocking claim was made by Nika Gvaramia, the founder of the opposition television channel 'Mtavari Arkhi' and the lawyer for the imprisoned former president.
“According to our sources, the current authorities are planning to simulate unrest in the prison after transferring Mikheil Saakashvili to the so-called prison hospital, which will end with his elimination,” Gvaramia stated during a broadcast on his channel.
He added that several inmates have already been transferred to the prison hospital to act as instigators of the unrest.
The lawyer is demanding that the authorities resolve the issue of hospitalizing the former president and transferring him to a multidisciplinary clinic within the next few hours, to ensure Saakashvili's safety.
Gvaramia warned that on the 24th day of the hunger strike, there is a risk of the detainee experiencing cardiac arrest.
Saakashvili was arrested in Georgia on October 1.
