Turkish Doctors are Emigrating from the Country
In the past two years, 3,000 doctors have left Turkey, with another 8,000 preparing to do the same. This information was reported by Ermenihaber.am.
Professor Süleyman Kaynak, a member of the Izmir Medical Chamber council, stated that Turkish doctors are seeking ways to move abroad. It has been revealed that over 3,000 fully trained doctors have taken up overseas jobs in the last two years due to the pressures, violence, and lack of salaries faced by healthcare workers in Turkey.
Professor Kaynak announced that the trend of emigration among young doctors is on the rise, with most opting for Germany. Currently, it is estimated that around 8,000 doctors are preparing to leave Turkey.
