Police Detain Former MP Gevorg Petrosyan
Police have detained former MP Gevorg Petrosyan, who was participating in a protest demanding the cancellation of a concert scheduled for September 21.
Today, several dozen citizens staged a demonstration at Charles Aznavour Square in Yerevan, calling for the cancellation of the concert on September 21. The police formed a cordon and did not allow protesters to march towards Republic Square. Clashes occurred between police and citizens, resulting in police using force to detain more than a dozen individuals.
