Mass Protests Against Vaccinations in France
In France, nearly 3,000 healthcare workers have been dismissed for not being vaccinated against the coronavirus disease. This was reported by BBC News.
The report recalls that yesterday, a new law came into effect making vaccination mandatory for the country's 2.7 million inhabitants working in the healthcare sector, as well as in care facilities and fire services.
However, the country's Health Minister Olivier Véran stated today that "many of the dismissals are temporary in nature." The new law immediately affects all doctors, nurses, support staff, and volunteers.
