Erdogan's Son-in-Law's Company Designs New Drone for Military Operations
On August 30, a ceremony was held in Turkey to hand over the new "Akıncı Bayraktar" attack drone designed by the company "Baykar Makina" to the Turkish Armed Forces. The event was attended by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as the Minister of Defense Hulusi Akar and other officials, according to ermenihaber.am.
The "Akıncı" drone, with a wingspan of 20 meters, is equipped with an artificial intelligence system, satellite communication systems, air-to-air radars, and obstacle detection radars.
The drone will be armed with Turkish-made munitions, including bombs and missiles (MAM-L, MAM-C, Cirit, L-UMTAS, Bozok, MK-81, MK-82, MK-83, KGK-MK-82, Gökdoğan, Bozdoğan, SOM-A), which include cruise missiles and air-to-air missiles.
