Taliban Do Not Control Situation at Kabul Airport: What Has Changed Since Yesterday's Clashes
The Taliban movement does not control the situation at Kabul International Airport, said the movement's official representative Zabihullah Mujahid to RIA Novosti.
Earlier, information emerged about two explosions at Kabul Airport, and later, an RIA Novosti correspondent reported that a third explosion had erupted in the airport area. According to media reports, the first two explosions resulted in the deaths of 60 people, with more than 150 injured.
“Unfortunately, Kabul Airport is out of the Taliban's control,” Mujahid stated in response to a question about what measures are being taken to ensure security around the capital's airport.
