In Goris, Woman Invites Husband to Café to Resolve Differences, Then Douses Him with Gasoline and Sets Him on Fire
On August 25, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Syunik region. According to Samshyan.com, at around 14:10, the Goris police received a report from the Goris Medical Center stating that a citizen had been admitted with "first, second, and third-degree thermal burns".
Goris police have established that earlier that day, around 13:30, following a disagreement between Andranik T. and his wife Arevik T., the woman invited her husband to meet at an outdoor café located at 1 Artsakh Highway in Goris to talk. During the conversation, she poured gasoline on her husband's chest and set him on fire, causing him to sustain injuries.
