Imagine Yourself in the Enemy's Shoes and Respond to Their Leader's Interview: Mamijanyan to Government MPs
Days ago, the leader of Azerbaijan made several claims during an interview with CNN Turk, and a response is necessary from this podium, stated Hayk Mamijanyan, the secretary of the "Honorary Title" parliamentary group.
“I want to remind the leader of the enemy country that the Republic of Armenia is the guarantor of Artsakh's security. Azerbaijan has no right to interfere in the relations between Armenia and its strategic partner. Our bilateral relations are a crucial aspect of regional security,” the MP emphasized.
Mamijanyan highlighted that the return of our captives and the final answer to the status of Artsakh should be the primary conditions for any negotiations. “Artsakh will never belong to Azerbaijan. I have been following the news for the past 2-3 days; yesterday, a briefing took place in Armenia between the Deputy Foreign Minister and the Minister of Uruguay, and there was no mention of this interview. No official response was made either from the Parliamentary profile committee or any other agency. Once, when you hear the word 'capitulator,' that word is quickly silenced in the hall. Imagine yourself in the enemy's place, imagine that the term 'capitulator' has been voiced, and respond,” said Hayk Mamijanyan.
