Member of the Armenian Greco-Roman wrestling team and Olympic champion Arthur Aleksanyan's injury is not serious. This was reported in Tokyo by the spokesperson of the Armenian Wrestling Federation, Karen Giloian. He emphasized that Aleksanyan has a mild muscle injury.
He has already undergone medical examination and is preparing for the final match.
Olympic champion Arthur Aleksanyan competed against Iran's Mohammadali Saravi in the semifinals of the 97 kg weight category on August 2. During the match, while Aleksanyan was leading with a score of 3:1, he strained a muscle but continued to fight. Ultimately, Arthur Aleksanyan won with a score of 4:1.
In the final, Aleksanyan will compete against Musa Evloev representing Russia.
