Refusal to Acknowledge War Participation in Military Records: "Iravunk"

According to information obtained by "Iravunk", a tense situation prevails within the law enforcement system. The issue is that participants of the 44-day war in Artsakh are being refused acknowledgment in their military records, stating that they took part in the war, which also complicates matters concerning the categorization of those injured as disabled.

It is reminded that during the war, Nikol Pashinyan, who fancied himself the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, called for the formation of volunteer units to carry out the task of protecting the rights of the Armenian people. Following this, volunteer units, albeit mandatory, were also formed from within the law enforcement system. However, it is astonishing to see that at that time they threatened that criminal cases would be opened against those who did not go to war, yet now they claim that no one had the right to leave their posts in the law enforcement system to go to war.

Consequently, to avoid troubles, it is preferable to not mention participation in the war in military records. This entire absurd theater might seem laughable if the victims of the situation did not have health problems and a need to be recognized as participants of the war, especially since they did not go secretly, nor voluntarily but were actually compelled to.
