We Should Have a Country So This Wouldn't Happen: Levon Ter-Petrosyan
The first President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, briefly engaged with his teammates after leaving the HAK congress and before getting into his car.
As he was getting into the car, Hraparak.am managed to ask him a few questions, starting with the current situation in Syunik. Ter-Petrosyan noted that everyone is talking about Syunik these days.
We requested his advice, opinion, or wishes on the matter. "We should have a country so this wouldn't happen," he stated.
In response to whether we currently have a state and country, he replied, "We still do not have one." When we pressed for a timeline, he said, "Make the right choice, and we will have it."
We also inquired if it is possible that elections may not take place due to the situation in Syunik. Ter-Petrosyan responded, "Anything is possible."
