Vazgen Manukyan Interrogated; Non-Departure Signature Imposed as a Preventive Measure
In the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Vazgen Manukyan was summoned and interrogated regarding criminal cases linked to public calls for seizure of power, violent overthrow of the constitutional order, and incitement to violence during rallies held on February 12 and 20, 2021, in Freedom Square.
He has been charged under Article 301 of the Armenian Criminal Code, which pertains to public calls for the seizure of power, violation of territorial integrity, or violent overthrow of the constitutional order. As a preventive measure, a non-departure obligation has been imposed on him.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
