Biden Extends Sanctions Against Russia for Another Year
President Joe Biden of the United States has extended sanctions against Russia for another year, originally instituted in response to the situation in Ukraine and the annexation of Crimea.
The sanctions were put in place during the administrations of Barack Obama and Donald Trump. Biden has decided that all these restrictions should remain in effect after March 6, 2021.
