Nikol Pashinyan and Edmon Marukyan to Meet Tomorrow

During a conversation with reporters, Edmond Marukyan, the head of the "Enlightened Armenia" faction in the National Assembly, stated, "I made a proposal, to which there has been no clear, reasoned response."

"There was the Prime Minister's statement about a challenge. The Armenian nation faced one challenge, and under the leadership of the Prime Minister, we confronted that challenge and suffered a crushing defeat. Regarding the snap elections, the Prime Minister contacted me this morning and proposed a meeting to discuss everything we have been talking about. I assume we will meet tomorrow," he added, noting that all proposals will be discussed during the meeting with the Prime Minister.

In response to the Prime Minister's claim that the Chief of General Staff, Onik Gasparyan, acted on Serzh Sargsyan's orders to sign that document, Marukyan said, "I demanded evidence from the Prime Minister that he should make it public. I insist that it should be published. I want people to see how much the Prime Minister's words are based on reality," stated Edmon Marukyan.
