VIDEO: Youth Hand Turkish Passport to Deputy Minister Zhanna Andreasian

A group of young people handed a Turkish passport to Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasian in front of the ministry as a protest against her recent statements regarding Garegin Nzhdeh, reports Analitik.am.

The protesters urged the deputy minister to return to her "real homeland, Turkey, as she serves Turkish-Azerbaijani interests." They also stated that they will not tolerate pro-Turkish officials in the education sector and will work towards their removal.

The participants emphasized that Deputy Minister Andreasian should not attempt to pressure their school principals and teachers in an effort to silence them, as this would not succeed. No Armenian youth or student will tolerate a pro-Turkish education sector official.

It is noteworthy that before becoming the deputy minister, Andreasian had stated that Garegin Nzhdeh's ideas are dangerous for us.
