25-Year-Old Driver Found After Leaving Accident Scene
On February 15, the Road Police's traffic accident investigation and administrative proceedings department received a report from 25-year-old Aram Ghevondyan, a resident of Charentsi Street in Yerevan. He stated that on February 13, around 01:00, he was driving a Mercedes T500 with license plate 89 SS 573 and had an accident with an Opel vehicle on Saralanj Street.
According to shamshyan.com, the mentioned vehicle is registered in the name of A. Ghevondyan's mother. An investigation is underway at the Road Police to verify the information provided, as there have been numerous cases where it was later revealed that the driver had changed.
Earlier, it was reported that on February 13, a major traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 01:00 on Saralanj Street, a Mercedes driven by an unknown individual collided with an Opel driven by 27-year-old Artyom Zakoyan.
As a result of the accident, A. Zakoyan, his passengers, 26-year-old Mikael Kushyan, 16-year-old David Adulyan, and 18-year-old Alik Mesyann, sustained injuries and were taken to Heratsi Medical Center, from where D. Adulyan and A. Mesyann were later transferred to St. Astvatsatsin Medical Center.
