Important Message for the Russian Government: President of Iran's Parliament

The President of Iran's Parliament stated, "I will convey an important message regarding strategic issues to the Russian government during my visit to Moscow." Mohamed Baqer Qalibaf, the President of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, made this remark during a press conference with journalists before his trip to Russia. He noted, "The visit is taking place at the invitation of Mr. Volodin, the President of the Russian Duma."

Highlighting that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran has always emphasized the strategic relationship with Russia, he added, "As the President of Parliament, my first foreign trip to Russia on an official invitation demonstrates this. One of the key points of the visit is the important message concerning strategic issues that I will convey to the Russian government."

He pointed out, "These commonalities allow us to take advantage of the opportunities present in the region and the world for the prosperity of both countries and the establishment of global peace."
