Other Officials' Names in the Ministry of Defense Linked to Patron Davo's Case
New details have emerged regarding David Galstyan, the head of the arms supplying company "Moston Engineering," associated with the criminal case of Patron Davo. It is known that the National Security Service has uncovered a corrupt arms selling scheme within the Ministry of Defense.
Patron Davo, who was an advisor to former Minister David Tonoyan, has been detained on suspicion of embezzling large sums of money. It is noteworthy that this criminal case was initiated before the Artsakh war, and the investigation was ongoing at the National Security Service of Armenia. However, after the war, the NSS accelerated the pace of the case, and according to information received by the "Zhoghovourd" daily, the charges will not end with David Galstyan alone.
He is not the only one involved in this case; other officials from the Ministry of Defense are also under the NSS's scrutiny and may be linked to the arms supplies. Thus, it can be stated that a series of arrests is beginning, indicating that the investigation is extending directly towards the Ministry of Defense.
It is important to note that David Galstyan is the godson of Vachagan Ghazaryan, the former head of security for Serzh Sargsyan, and a friend of former defense minister David Tonoyan. This has been reported by the "Zhoghovourd" daily.
