520 Trucks Accumulate on the Russian Side of Lars

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia’s Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry in North Ossetia, the Stepanstsminda-Lars highway is open for all vehicles. However, around 520 trucks are currently stuck on the Russian side.

According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision prohibiting foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to cargo transport.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
