Ukraine Imposes New Sanctions Against Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed the decision of the country's National Security Council to impose new individual sanctions against a number of legal and physical entities in Russia.
The official website of the president did not publish the list of sanctions. The president instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to notify the relevant EU and U.S. agencies regarding the new sanctions and to advocate for the need for similar new restrictions against Russia to be adopted by them.
It is also reported that, according to Zelensky's decision, the effectiveness of the implementation of the sanctions will be monitored by the government, the National Security Council, and the National Bank of Ukraine.
