Armenia to File Complaint Against Azerbaijan at ECHR
The Republic of Armenia is preparing to file a complaint against Azerbaijan at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). This was reported to Armenpress by Armenia's representative at the ECHR, Yeghishe Kirakosyan.
“We have been conducting preparatory work for quite some time, gathering evidence, assessing, and preparing the complaint process. We plan to submit a complaint against Azerbaijan in the near future. It will cover a wide range of issues, starting from the protection of the rights of victims, the wounded, and displaced persons, to claims regarding lost and damaged properties, which we believe are quite numerous,” noted Kirakosyan.
He added that the complaint will also address all violations of international law, including violations of international humanitarian law, which Azerbaijan has committed during the war using prohibited methods and means of warfare.
