Lars Closed for All Vehicles
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia. The roads leading to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in Aragatsotn Province are closed.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepanstminda-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles due to the risk of avalanche. Additionally, there are 100 trucks stuck on the Russian side.
According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision to prohibit the entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to cargo transport.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
