Austria and Slovakia Introduce Online Registration System for Entry
Informed by the Embassy of Armenia in Austria for our compatriots wishing to travel to Austria and Slovakia:
"In light of the measures being implemented to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Austria and Slovakia, here is relevant information regarding the regulations for entering these countries.
Austria: Starting from January 15, 2021, an online registration system will be implemented for individuals entering Austria. Travelers arriving in Austria are required to provide information regarding their personal details, as well as information about their travel and planned quarantine (home) requirements. The confirmation of electronic registration must be presented at the control checkpoint either in electronic or printed form upon entering the country. The link for online registration, which will be operational starting January 14, 2021, can be found here. If registration is not completed electronically, the arriving passenger must fill out a self-isolation form upon arrival in German or English.
Slovakia: Individuals arriving in the Slovak Republic are required to register through the link https://korona.gov.sk/en/ehranica/. While in the territory of the Slovak Republic, it is necessary to present confirmation of registration upon request by a representative of the Slovak Republic police."
