Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Demands an End to Sanctions Against His Country

The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has stated that Western countries must immediately lift the damaging sanctions against Tehran. This has been reported by 1lurer.am, citing the IRIB news agency.

He pointed to the issues related to the 2015 nuclear deal and the harsh sanctions on Iran, saying, "I repeat what I have said many times. They must eliminate the sanctions, and we must organize our economy in such a way that we can manage the country in the best possible way despite the sanctions."

According to the Iranian spiritual leader, if the sanctions are lifted, the U.S. return to Iran's nuclear agreement would make sense. "But if the sanctions are not canceled, their return to the agreement could be detrimental to us," added Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
