I Am Absolutely Not Concerned About the Call for Desecration of the Mother Cathedral on December 27: Gevorg Danielyan

Doctor of Law and Professor Gevorg Danielyan has written on his Facebook page: "I am absolutely not concerned about the call for desecration of the Mother Cathedral on December 27. At most, a few dozen misguided individuals (though that is also unlikely) will attempt to create a scene, surrounded by police and under their direct protection, making noise and running about a bit to create the illusion of movement.

I will also be at the Mother Cathedral, and I would urge the true followers of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church not to fall into provocations and not to be tempted by the allure of breaking the noses of these misguided individuals.

What concerns me is how nationalistic forces, supported by Turkish sources, still manage to be so confident and make public calls after all this. Even a mediocre specialist could, if they wanted, clarify who the real 'hero' is. What kind of impunity and perhaps selective impunity is this? Don't you understand that your time is already running out? God protect our nation.

P.S. Some had warned me that specific public figures were planning to organize actions with foolish initiatives, and I reacted back then that this was unlikely. Of course, I didn’t explain that with the 'positive' image of these figures…"
