The Crown and Glory of the Artsakh Victory is the 'Turkic Route': Turkish Newspapers Publish with the Same Message
The latest issues of Turkey's two leading government newspapers have been released with the same message. Varujan Geghamyan shared this on his Facebook page.
- 'The Turkic world is uniting.' The crown and glory of the Artsakh victory is the 'Turkic Route.' The Nakhchivan-Azerbaijan corridor will change the entire trade flow of the region. Turkey will be directly connected to Central Asia (Akşam newspaper).
- 'We reached the Pacific Ocean through one corridor.' The strategic trade and energy route opened by the corridor connecting Nakhchivan to Azerbaijan leads Turkey to the shores of the Pacific Ocean (Sabah newspaper).
Turkey and Azerbaijan are openly delighted, confident that the corridor-road passing through Syunik will serve not only for automotive freight transportation. According to government newspapers, the extension of the Kars-Igdir-Nakhchivan railway and a new gas pipeline that will connect Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan and Turkey, among many other projects, are set to pass through Syunik. Meanwhile, the significance of the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline will be undermined.
